9 worst foods for your skin that you must avoid

How foods effects your skin

When you eat a poor diet, the body doesn't get the nutrients it needs to function properly. This causes inflammation and free radical damage to cells in the body.

1.Red meat

Red meat is not great for our overall health. It contains high levels of saturated fat, when consumed in excess, these fats can clog pores and cause breakouts.

2.Processed meat

Eating processed meat puts you at risk of developing acne. High intake of meat contributes to higher levels of androgens in women, which can contribute to breakouts.

Eating high-fat dairy products like whole milk, cheese can cause breakouts because of their fatty acid content. The hormones in milk also stimulate oil production and can worsen acne.

3.Dairy products

Refined oils contain pro-inflammatory omega-6 fatty acids, and these are bad news for your skin because they can trigger breakouts.

4.Refined oils

This is, by far, one of the worst food items on a person’s diet. The main ingredient is sugar and flour—two ingredients known to cause acne in susceptible individuals.

5.Desserts and pastries

The high temperatures at which fried food is cooked often destroy any protective antioxidants in those foods, allowing damaging free radicals to build up.

6.Fried foods

7.Flavored yogurt

Yogurt is a great source of calcium and has many other health benefits, but when it comes to acne-prone skin, experts say plain yogurt is better.

To maintain healthy, youthful-looking skin, stay away from sugary treats. Sugar can lead to breakouts and wrinkles when consumed in large amounts on a regular basis.

Though it’s tempting to have a glass of wine after a long day, alcohol has a dehydrating effect. The more dehydrated our body is, the more prone we are to wrinkles and other signs of aging.

Giving your body healthy food is a simple way to look and feel better. By avoiding these foods, I’m sure it will be much easier to achieve a clear and radiant complexion.
